Louis Palmer, my hero [see heroes section of this website], or should I say one of my heroes, is at it again. He drove his electric solar car around the world. It took him about a year. Now, he has organized a bunch of Solar or electric vehicles to race around the world in 80 days. Starting in Los Angeles and coming through Washington DC, the caravan will leave in June 2010….just when we are leaving Washington DC and going to Los Angeles. What a coincidence. Could we join them? I guess so, if we went out there before they start. I don’t have enough leave time from my job to go around the world, but we could do the American leg of the journey.
